Why does a widow's pension request more seniors?

The widow's pension, introduced in July 2025, proved to be a key component of social safety for seniors, with 993.4 1000 people receiving the benefit in June 2026. As of January 1, 2027, part of the second benefit will increase from 15 to 25 percent, which will bring real benefits to elder households.
