BOSTON- Delta Air Lines (DL) is expanding its transatlantic network from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) with two new nonstop routes. Service to Madrid (MAD) begins May 16, while flights to Nice (NCE) launch May 17, giving Boston travelers more direct access to Spain and the French Riviera.
With these additions, Delta (DL) strengthens its role as Boston’s leading global carrier, offering nonstop flights to 12 European destinations in summer 2025. The airline is also growing its seasonal schedules to Barcelona (BCN) and Milan (MXP), improving connectivity and aligning with peak demand.

Delta Boston to Madrid and Nice
The launch of Boston–Madrid and Boston–Nice marks a significant expansion of Delta’s European portfolio.
Travelers can expect daily service to Madrid and three weekly flights to Nice on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Both routes will be operated with the Airbus A330-900neo, equipped with four cabin options, including Delta One® suites with lie-flat seating and premium amenities.
These flights add variety to Boston’s transatlantic network. Madrid offers historic boulevards, world-class art, and culinary traditions, while Nice connects travelers to the French Riviera’s Mediterranean coastline and culture.
Beyond these cities, Delta’s SkyTeam partners provide convenient onward connections across Europe.

Expanded Service to Barcelona and Milan
In addition to Madrid and Nice, Delta is boosting its seasonal European network with earlier starts to Barcelona and Milan. Daily Boston–Barcelona flights begin May 7, while four-times-weekly Boston–Milan flights start May 16.
These adjustments better align with seasonal demand and give travelers more flexibility when planning spring and summer trips.
Together, these routes position Boston as a premier U.S. gateway to Southern Europe, offering direct access to key leisure and business destinations.

Boston as a Global Hub in Delta’s Network
Over the last two decades, Delta has transformed Boston Logan (BOS) into one of its cornerstone hubs, nearly tripling its service from 25 to about 70 destinations worldwide.
The airline now offers around 20 daily international flights from Boston, reaching four continents through its own network and partnerships.
This growth reinforces Boston’s importance as a strategic hub, giving travelers diverse options for both long-haul and regional connections.

Elevated Ground Experience at Boston Logan
Delta’s expansion is complemented by upgraded facilities at Boston Logan International Airport.
The recently opened Delta One Lounge provides 6,700 square feet of premium dining and relaxation, with a nautical-inspired design reflecting Boston’s maritime heritage.
For a wider audience, the expanded Delta Sky Club now covers nearly 21,000 square feet, offering shower suites, workspaces, and a variety of seating options.
Recognized by USA Today as one of the nation’s top airport lounges, the Sky Club enhances the airport experience for business and leisure travelers alike.
Commitment to the Boston Community
Delta employs more than 2,000 people in Massachusetts and invests locally through the Delta Air Lines Foundation.
The airline supports educational initiatives, environmental programs, and community development projects with over a dozen partner organizations.
This long-term investment highlights Delta’s role not only as a transportation provider but also as a community partner in Boston.
