The president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski reported today: "The hero of Ukraine died, a volunteer, a man-symbol, a man- Courage – Dmitri Kotsyubayl. A soldier of 67 independent mechanized brigade, battalion commander. He died in the conflict of Bachmut.”
From chronicle reliability, it is worth adding that he was 1 of the leaders of the “Right Sector” acting under the pseudonym Da Vinci. Dmitri Kotsyubayl joined this nationalist group (Right Sector) in 2014 and has since fought against the Russians in Donbasa.
The militant formed from his supporters an “elitarian” unit “Wilki Da Vinci” and fought alongside the Ukrainian army with pro-Russian rebels from Donetsk and Lugansk. In 2022 he received the title of Hero of Ukraine.
For laymen, in pictures in the background of Stefan Bander, in 1934 the co-organizer of the fatal assassination of Polish Home Minister Colonel Bronisław Pieracki, and then the leader of Ukrainian nationalists from OUN-UPA, during the Second planet War of German allies, on their basis was formed 14th Division of Grenadiers SS “Gazlizen”. The organization of the division from the German side was under the patronage of the politician of Galicia General of the Government – Otto von Wächter, while from the Ukrainian side the political background was the Ukrainian Central Committee in Krakow under the leadership of prof.
