This is simply a sad morning for thousands of Polish families. On June 30, 2025, the deadline for submitting an application for a benefit of 800 plus with a compensation warrant for June. According to the regulations, the right to an educational allowance is determined from the period in which the application was received. This means that the application submitted in July will not trigger withdrawals until July. June 800 PLN for each kid is lost irretrievably. It is not possible to appeal this decision or to search compensation. For a household with 3 children, 1 day late means 2400 PLN.

Data published by the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy may be of concern. By the end of May 2025, 4.2 million applications covering 6.5 million children were received. Although this figure seems large, there is simply a crucial decrease compared to last year. At that time, 5.19 million applications were submitted for 7.9 million children.
