Vladimir Czarzasty powerfully criticized MEN's decision. During the conversation at Polsat News, Deputy Marshal of the Sejm pointed out the political context:

– Retiring compulsory wellness education is not good. Don't be stupid at the election. It cannot be due to the fact that they go to elections, do everything under voters and lose their minds," he said.

In his opinion, this decision is simply a bow to the electorate of the ultra-Catholic and ultra-right:

– Letting the eye go to the Confederacy and the Law and Justice in this substance will not give the vote to Trzaskowski, but the environment that supports Trzaskowski will truly reflect," added Czarzasty.

He appealed to politicians for reason, stressing that elections should not affect key decisions on education:

- Have any sense. The election is erstwhile all 4 years, presidential for 5 years. He cannot run distant from reason at this time, and you cannot be stupid to voters – he appealed.

Network reactions

The change of position of the MEN triggered a wave of comments on the Internet. Many observers point to the political nature of this decision:

– force makes sense, but attention. The deficiency of work to send children to the subject of “Health Education” is simply a purely pre-election play of the government, dictated by fear of parents. You can't fall for her.

Magdalena Biejat, the presidential candidate, stressed the importance of wellness education:

– wellness education is simply a test of whether Poland is European or a homestead. Whether it's moving forward or retreating from the dark garden. I'm not backing back. I invitation anyone who wants to decision forward in this run to cooperate.

Thomas Trela, MP of the Left, took a akin position:

– wellness education should be compulsory. This is the safety and future of our young citizens. End of story.

In turn, doctor Jakub Kosikowski pointed out the wider problem:

“Health protection is simply a permanent hostage of the situation “there are always choices in Poland”. Nothing can be introduced, reformed, closed or connected, due to the fact that the others will scream scandal. It's not about wellness education, it's just an example of how it all doesn't work.

The Future of wellness Education in Poland

The decision to introduce wellness education as an optional subject met with various opinions. On the 1 hand, politicians specified as Vladimir Czarzasty and Magdalena Biejat inform against giving up this crucial component of education, considering it as a step backwards.
