Przemysław Czarnek, erstwhile Minister of Education and Law and Justice announced his participation in the swearing-in of Donald Trump as president of the United States, to be held on 20 January.

During the gathering in Lublin Voivodeship Czarnek informed:

“On Saturday I go to Washington. There's a conference on the eve of president Trump's oath. We will talk to a large number of Americans, Americans of Polish origin, senators, US MPs about breaking the regulation of law in Poland and the illegal government of Donald Tusk – so that the full planet from there, on the eve of the oath of Donald Trump, hears it.”

Czarnek stressed that his visit was intended to draw the global public's attention to issues related to Donald Tusk's governments in Poland.

The relation between the PiS and Donald Trump was previously cordial. After announcing his triumph in the 2024 presidential election, in the Polish Parliament, MPs of the Law and Justice expressed their joy by chanting his name and posing for photos with the slogan “Make America large Again”. However, not all PiS politicians shared their enthusiasm for Trump. any expressed skepticism about specified behavior, calling it a “sow”.

It is besides worth noting that president Andrzej Duda does not plan to participate in the oath ceremony of Donald Trump, arguing that there is no tradition for the heads of another states to participate in specified events. Instead, the erstwhile Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will appear in Washington as a typical of European Conservatives and Reformers (ECR).

The presence of Polish politicians at the oath of Donald Trump and their engagement in the events accompanying this ceremony attest to the desire to keep and deepen relations between Poland and the United States under the fresh president. In the context of the relations of the Law and Justice Office with Donald Trump, it is worth recalling that in the past this organization expressed support for his policies, hoping to strengthen Polish-American cooperation in the field of safety and the economy.

It is besides worth noting how the presence of Polish politicians at the oath of Donald Trump will be taken by the public in the country and what consequences it will have for future diplomatic actions of Poland.

In the context of Przemysław Czarnek's planned visit to the US, it is besides worth considering the circumstantial effects of his actions and whether they will contribute to Poland's strategical goals on the global stage. At the same time, it will be crucial to observe how Donald Trump's fresh administration will form its relations with Poland and what our country will take place in the United States abroad policy in the coming years.

It is besides worth remembering that global relations are complex and multidimensional, and that actions taken by politicians can have far-reaching consequences, both affirmative and negative. It is so crucial that the initiatives taken are well-thought out and geared towards achieving long-term benefits for the country.
