USA – Classicism preferred in fresh government buildings

Since 18 December Classicism (classic architecture) is the preferred architectural kind of fresh government buildings in the United States.
About the fresh “Promoting Beautiful national civilian Architecture” order, informs the White home website:
"Classical and conventional architecture, practiced both in the past and by contemporary architects, has proven its value and meets the required criteria. It should be encouraged, not the another way around."
The paper recommends that fresh buildings be “beautiful”, referring to the Greek and Roman traditions. At the same time, architecture that rejects universally acceptable standards, harmony and context and public opinion is criticised.
"New national buildings, like those considered the most valuable historical buildings in America, should embellish public space, inspire people, enrich the United States, rise public respect and respect the region's architectural heritage. They should besides be easy identified as public buildings, and the selection of their task should take place with the engagement of local communities."

"The fresh architecture should satisfy the general public, not just the architectural establishment," says Justin Shubow, head of the National Civic Art Society social organization, who was liable for the work on the document.
