Visit of Polish thought Clubs in Budapest
In fresh days Think Poland has organised a unique visit to Budapest.
What was so “unordinary and special” about it?
Purpose of the visit
Well, rather frankly, I inactive have no thought what that was all about. 1 can shed a veil of shame on this purpose, being perceptive, 1 can effort to explain the purpose. possibly it was an intellectual and cultural exchange between Poland and Hungary. The gathering may have been aimed at exchanging ideas on contemporary political and social challenges, as well as bringing together 2 nations that have deep historical ties. possibly the subject afraid a increasing interest in contemporary political and philosophical thought, (not) strengthening ties and (not) establishing dialogue, against ideas that would form the foundations of modern Slavic European societies. But these are just a fewer possible hypotheses.

We received a ‘none known’ sheet 5 minutes before leaving. It was standard, collection, departure, arrival, free time, integration event with our colleagues from MI Hazánk, the dimension of this integration, was to be handed over on site.
Let's halt at Mi Hazank...
The Movement of Our Homeland (Mi Hazánk Mozgalom, MHM) – a Hungarian, far-right political organization with a national-conservative profile, proclaiming anti-immigration, anti-communist and powerfully Eurosceptic slogans. It was founded on 23 June 2018 by László Toroczceia, mayor of the village of Ásotthalom and originator of the border wall at the border of Hungary and Serbia, after his defeat in the fight for leadership over the Jobbik party. On 7 November 2018, 3 MPs joined the party: István Apáti, Erik Fülöp and János Volner, which led the organization to establish a faction in the National Assembly.
What turned out to be...
There was neither integration, nor communication, nor the merging of 2 nations, nor were there colleagues with Mi Hazánk Mozgalom. Any effort to find out anything has failed. The “integration” itself ended with “trusted” in any disco club. “Trusted, their own group” – that is what you might call it, since only a fewer have been informed of this disco. possibly due to the fact that we are talking about people who are “Polish think” and have an average age exceeding 50-60 years and would not be curious in specified integration (between themselves). They had come to spend this promising evening, among the earlier mentioned slogans – “go with the Jews”, with a certain attitude towards Russia and Ukraine – in their own rooms. This is most likely because, in order to further strengthen this highly promising for the future, attitude, or otherwise, due to the deficiency of an thought for future life or the destiny of our own country, wanting to stay a permanent organizer, this deficiency and this idea.
It is not hard to know that some, erstwhile dissatisfied, asked for another day, considered lost. And the next day was mandatory.
It may be due to the fact that as shortly as the news of the disgruntled, who did not want to “make propaganda meat” (in the sense of the number of participants) began to appear strange, previously unknown people. They gave us revealing sentences, all well known – that it is about combining, not sharing. With these sentiments, we were abundantly favored, and erstwhile they found themselves encountering resistance, they began to turn into threats.
It was a unusual coincidence that alternatively of Mi Hazánk Mozgal to whom we promised much, he was replaced – possibly in ignorance, though with the approval of the organizers – by Fidesz and Orbán himself. Stubborn, those who were not deceived, decided that they would search out Mi Hazánk's colleagues themselves, what happened to the announcement that “Next year they will not take them (organizers) for a journey to the mountains”. Although this was not said explicitly (by the organizers), this information was conveyed by these strange, unknown people who abruptly began to appear.
I think that Think Poland, the right one, allows how to put it, ‘freedom of religion’, and so leaves free will whether individual wants to participate or not, in any performance, especially due to the ‘presentation’, those who consider themselves the elite of this thought, were not gracious to inform anyone until they left. We knew where, we didn't know what for. possibly those who consider themselves MP elite do not realize this, even though the freedom slogans are close to them.
Maybe it's not Think Poland, possibly it's another thought!?
Returning to the memorable day, the day of Fidesz and Orbán – they went, but returned rather quickly, giving themselves the Polish flags on Polish trees. Even though they were taken from them that they (appeared to) were deprived of their ‘own’ nationality, they returned there in punishment. You might fishy that individual was disturbed by a white-red flag, but you might as well think that individual took the liberty of taking their own national colors.
How does this relate to Mi Hazánk Mozgalom!?
On the same day, in the afternoon – but already optionally, and only for the volunteers – the Mi Hazánk demonstration was to be held, in which the associate was to be, the ‘parlamenta’, Ewa Zajączkowska, who was to be a participant. Dissatisfied with tearing off national colours, they managed and contacted colleagues from Mi Hazánk, asking if they had any cognition of coming with support for the idea, Polish national thought. They were amazed, having no thought about the visit of Poles, besides not knowing about the oracle of Zajączkowska (did any Polish thinker want to catch a breech, in his name!?).
Without hiding the surprise, they invited us officially so that we could participate in their manifestation, on which besides omnipolates and another Polish thinkers appeared.
One thing made me think: they say that the humble bodies of 2 mothers suck. What is the character and direction to eat breakfast at Orbán's in the morning and to benefit from the hospitality of those against Orbán (with the same banner) in the afternoon?

The Our Homeland Movement is protesting Viktor Orbán's invitation to Hungary by his friend Benjamin Netanyahu, an Israeli Prime Minister accused of war crimes, who should be arrested by the global Criminal Court. Orbán did not mention that the same ICC issued warrants for the arrest of Hamas leaders. Orbán is not accustomed to being so strict with various global courts erstwhile it comes to Hungarian interests. For example, Hungary will proceed to pay compensation to criminals released from prison if the Strasbourg court so decides.
I think the good Hungarians are unaware of our swamp of importance, of common adoration, of the more appropriate patriotism of 1 towards another, of our merging (but so that this merger never occurs). I believe that the contacts we have made will let us to explain these dependencies to them, so that next time, we do not should be ashamed of our national colours.
The final accent already belonged (typically) to Poles. The polite Hungarians from Mi Hazánk invited the present guests – Poles – to a common photo. Hungarians were embarrassed to see “all-Polish punks” inviting another Poles from this common photograph, perpetuating intellectual and cultural exchange between Poland and Hungary.
There were no workshops (unless it was held, no 1 informed anyone about it), where participants had the chance to present their ideas for closer cooperation between Poland and Hungary, no meetings with representatives of Polish and Hungarian independent thought were organised, no talk about relations between our countries, the challenges facing us in the face of changes on the global stage. There was no culmination in the form of a joint dinner that would let for free conversation and establishing ties between representatives of both countries.
There's no taste left!
