Two weeks ago, China Southern (CZ) confirmed its intention to sell its fleet of Boeing 787-8 aircraft. The airline listed 10 Boeing 787-8 jets for sale on the Shanghai United Equity Exchange, including 2 GENX-170 engines for each aircraft.
The carrier set a minimum price of $50 million per aircraft. This price falls well below the original list price but matches the market value for these 11.6-year-old used jets.
