Great coordination of organizers and large determination of parents, teachers and all people of good will – these are 2 factors that had a immense impact on the turnout success of the Krakow protest “YAK for education, NOT for depravity”. The crowds that appeared in front of Adam Mickiewicz's monument on Sunday in the Kraków marketplace clearly made it clear to the Polish authorities that in defence of children from leftist indoctrination and depravity they were able to sacrifice more than anything.
Around 10:00 a.m. I looked at the train agenda – it turned out that they were about 40 minutes late. After 11:00 I got into a car and went to Krakow, even though the weather did not encourage it.
When I appeared a fewer minutes in the afternoon in front of Adam Mickiewicz's monument in the Main Square, in addition to those liable for setting up the phase and respective police officers protecting the protest, I did not announcement anyone who would be curious in demonstrating opposition to the sex revolution minister Nowacka in Polish schools. But this changed quickly. First came the representatives of “Solidarity”“ , then respective twelve people from Limanowa – each with a white-red flag...
Then things went very quickly, and in respective minutes I was already in a crowd of teachers, parents, grandparents and teenagers afraid about the future of the Polish school and those who said “NO“ depraved ideas minister Nowacka and coalition on 13 December.
I've spoken to dozens of protesters of all ages. Everyone emphasized that they appeared at Adam Mickiewicz's monument to halt the madness that Barbara Nowack wants to forcely implement. Everyone, absolutely everyone stressed that what the MEN are planning is an assassination of the innocence of children, their safety and identity, an assassination of parents' rights, an assassination of the Constitution.
I was most struck by the words of the father who held a fewer years old boy in his hands. He said that we are dealing with another installment of the French Revolution and we must stand up to conflict as the Wandeans did in the 18th century. The Nowacka Revolution is not only a sexual education for non-discipline called health, but an assassination of Polishness, on our identity, on our Christian roots, and the intent of this coup is to cultivate a fresh man who will be the property of the state and only the state. His parents will only supply him with a “hot angle”, food, clothing and permanent net access. The state will be liable for shaping his consciousness, identity, mentality, and everyone can see what he offers in person.
Equally strong words fell off the stage. Sławomir Skiba, Vice president of the Association. Fr Piotr Skargi stressed that the rulers crossed a very thin red line. – Following their ideological ideas, they decided to scope for our children! We came here to respond to this unprecedented attack on the family! To remind the Minister and the full government that children are not state property – he pointed out at the outset, and the assembled responded with loud applause.
– Children belong to God and are given to us – parents, to rise them according to our belief, according to our decently shaped conscience. We will not agree to any interference of the state in the upbringing of our children, especially the kind of interference that turns children against the household and tries to demoralize them by alleged wellness education, which is actually sexual education, or depravity! said the co-organiser of the protest.
– The money that Minister Nowack so willingly collects all period is money from our taxes! We keep this government, we keep these ministers, that's why we tell them, "Hands off our children" “Slawomir Skiba said, and immediately a crowd of protesters began chanting, “Hands off our children.”
– If now, dear parents, there's no blood in you for specified arrogance and aggression of power, then erstwhile will it break? Will you let your children to fall into the hands of officials who want to indoctrinate and corrupt them? – he asked, and the demonstrators answered loudly “NO” and then shouted “YES for education, NO for depravity”.
Finally, Sławomir Skiba recalled the words of Christ the Lord: "Whosoever causeth stumbling for 1 of the least, it would be better to tie the millstone around his neck and throw it into the sea" (Mt 18:6). – There is no way for us to agree to the depravity of our children. These children have been entrusted to us, and we will answer for whether we have saved them from stumbling and depravity, whether we have left them to ideologies, corrupters and ideologists. Hands off our kids! – concluded Sławomir Skiba.
Listening to the speeches of subsequent speakers, including Witold Gadowski, Magdalena Czarnik and many another representatives of organizations opposed to the sex revolution of Nowacka, on the 1 hand I watched people who were curiously stopping for a minute to perceive to speakers and express more or little clear solidarity with the protesters. I heard the parents and their children walking around the Kraków marketplace explaining to their children what a protest this is and that “how better the weather will be” will besides participate in specified a demonstration. Tens of people took pictures, others recorded videos and nodded. Of course, they were both indifferent and even those who looked at all of this with surprise – those fortunately were in a minority.
But the most interesting experience for me was to talk to a fewer young foreigners, who asked what was going on here, where these flags came from, what was the event. erstwhile I told them we were protesting sex education then they laughed and waved their hand. possibly they did not realize the scale of the problem... possibly they themselves were children of sexual education according to WHO standards... I didn't find out...
Interestingly, the weather conditions have not improved at all during the protest. The snow was pouring more and more, the wind was blowing more and more, and yet the protesters stood firmly on the posts and with the slogan "We will not give our children away" on our lips.
Now the ball is on the side of Minister Nowacka. However, let it be aware that the protesters in Krakow, Warsaw, Szczecin and tens of another Polish cities are determined and will not take a step back.
