Mobbing in the Court of Appeal in Gdańsk. Disgusting Details Revealed

The ZET radio reported that a section of the Court of Appeal in Gdańsk confirmed the existence of mobbing. The details of the findings of the committee appointed to analyse the case were described by the radio station.

Mobbing took place in Słupsk, where the Support Section of Central Systems, which is part of the Information Branch of the Court of Appeals in Gdańsk, operates. The persons employed there are busy working, specified as transcription of court proceedings and anonymization of the content of judicial decisions and their justifications for publication.

According to information provided by the radio station, for many years the management of the post section was held by 2 women who were privately friends. Their late employed subordinates admit that the mobbing process began around 2015. The case was reported to the fresh manager of the Court of Appeal in Gdańsk in 2023, who appointed a committee to examine whether specified actions took place.

Commission: Persistent and long-term harassment of section staff

According to the findings of Radio ZET, in November 2023 the committee operating in the Court of Appeal in Gdańsk concluded its investigation and clearly stated cases of mobbing.

The summary of the committee's minutes indicated that it was unanimously recognised that both the section manager and its deputy had committed harassment against section staff through systematic and prolonged harassment, intimidation and isolation, resulting in humiliation, ridicule, or even insulting workers and their exclusion from the team, including the situation of those who no longer work. It besides indicated the peculiarly hard situation of the group of transcriptors and the general climate of fear, humiliation and reluctance to work, which had an impact on the intellectual wellness of workers, causing serious wellness consequences, fears and panic about the start of another working day. As a result, many experienced additional individual damage.

They lost their executive positions, but they inactive work in court.

As a consequence of accusations of mobbing, women in managerial positions were deprived of these functions. Rafał Terlecki, a press spokesperson for the Court of Appeals in Gdańsk, informed Radio ZET that persons who have been proven to be utilizing mobbing practices are inactive working at the Court of Appeals in Gdańsk, nevertheless their workplace was moved to the building of the territory Court in Słupsk. At the same time, he denied information suggesting that they work straight alongside those who have been subjected to mobbing practices. Terlecki stressed that according to the advice of the Anti-Mobbing Commission, these people would no longer be in charge of human teams, which was implemented.
