BANDEROVA UKRAINE 9 APRIL 2015
Bohdan Friday “On the UPA side”
Bohdan's private historical blog Friday
The course of president Bronisław Komorowski's visit to Kiev on 9 April was not amazing to me. This visit should be seen in 2 dimensions – as part of an ongoing election campaign, where the president and his political camp bid for anti-Russian radicalism with the Camp of Law and Justice and as sealing the Polish policy towards post-maidan Ukraine. It is not amazing for me to celebrate with Poroshenko the 75th anniversary of the Katyn crime in the war cemetery in Kiev – Bykownia. The Katyn crime has been the main pillar of Poland's historical solidarity policy since the 4th of the century and up to the Smolensk disaster and Ukrainian crisis was the most crucial pretext for removing normalization of Polish-Russian relations. Although Russia with this crime reasonably settled. In any case, fairer than Ukraine with the Volynian-Małopolski genocide, where there is no actual settlement. On the contrary. The ruling Ukrainians are now winning the Poles with the “Smert Lachom”, “Lachy za San” and the threats of Ukrainian organization leaders: “We will make you another Katyn”, “We have not put you up adequate Poles”. The celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Katyn crime in Kiev, with the post-maidan authorities of Ukraine and in a peculiar geopolitical situation, was nothing more than an emphasis on the anti-Russian dimension of historical policy of the 3rd Republic of Poland. The question is whether it is directed more to Russia or to the electorate IV of the Polish Republic.
However, the main component of the Polish President's visit to Kiev was his speech in the Verchowna Council. besides here Bronisław Komorowski did not surprise me, repeating a set of slogans known for a year and a half about Poland's support of Ukraine, giving her a hand on the way “to Europe”, trying to take Ukraine's right to “free choice of its way” etc. However, this speech contained astounding elements which were not commented by mainstream media, delighted by the white-red flags on the benches of the Ukrainian parliament's deputies and their ovations.
Among specified astonishing elements was the President's message that "Europe will never forget the victims of the Heavenly Sotnia". The president is somewhat under-informed, due to the fact that Europe has long known that "the victims of Heaven's Sotnia" have fallen, not from the Bercut bullets, but from the Right Sector. You don't want to know only in Poland.
At the outset, the president of Poland stated that he was not curious in the past, but in the future in relations with Ukraine. It is amazing that Polish politicians cannot accomplish specified generosity and emergence above the past in relations with Russia. While the past in relations with Russia constantly rips and sprinkles salt, in relations with Ukraine it is an unnecessary ballast. Therefore, it could not be expected from president Komorowski that in the Verchowna Council he would appeal for Ukrainian designation of the Volyn-Małopolski genocide as genocide. 1 could anticipate him to say what would be acceptable to the Ukrainian parliament. The president stated, among others, that during the period of enslavement by the large nineteenth-century empires and Poles, and Ukrainians succumbed to sinister whispers and their national liberation efforts were in no tiny measurement directed against each other. This is not true, due to the fact that these “insults” from Austro – Hungary and Germany – which has not been clearly said – succumbed before, during and after the First planet War. besides controversial is the passage in which the president said that the tragic apogee of conflict occurred in the years of planet War II, erstwhile so much innocent Polish and Ukrainian blood was shed. The description of the terrorist activities of the CNS against the Second Republic of Poland, and later the genocide carried out by the CNS – B and UPA in Volyn and east Małopolska in the category of Polish-Ukrainian conflict, is simply a favourite treatment utilized since the late 1980s. 20th century by Ukrainian historians and their Polish fans with the environment “Gazeta Wyborcza” at the head. Unfortunately, an effort to obscure historical truth, ignoring the fascist character of the alleged integral ideology
Ukrainian nationalism and the resulting anti-Polish and criminal goals, defined by the CNS as early as 1929. Contrary to what the president said, during planet War II, Polish blood, not Ukrainian blood, was spilled in this “conflict”. It was a unusual conflict, where on the Polish side there were at least 200,000 victims, and on the Ukrainian side at most respective thousand. In calling for common forgiveness and reconciliation, president Komorowski stated that it should be done by "careful remembrance of the victims of fraternal crimes". Thus, we have here on 1 level the victims of the Polish flag genocide and how little many Ukrainian victims of the Polish self-defense and the operation “Wisła” (which was besides Polish self-defense and not any “crime”). This is another favourite treatment of Ukrainian and Polish negationists of the Volyn-Małopolski genocide and the criminal nature of the ideology of Ukrainian nationalism.
I cannot aid feeling that this "conciliation" will take place on Ukrainian conditions. The conditions were late presented by Polish writer Adam Szostkiewicz, and Ukrainian MP Yuri Szuchewycz – boy of Roman Szuchewycz ("Taras of Czuprynka") the commander of UPA and organizer of genocide in Poles. Adam Szostkiewicz, criticizing the SLD initiative on the Sejm resolution condemning the worship of UPA in Ukraine, stated that: “whether we like it or not in Poland – UPA worship is needed by Ukraine as 1 of the elements of building the russian national identity” (www.kresy.pl, 25.03.2015). Yuri Szuchewycz in an interview with “Gazeta Wyborcza” said: “What if we don't build our patriotism on UPA? The Knights' Bands of Kiev Rus? On resumes of Ukrainians like Khrushchev and Brezhnev? How about the Bolshevik legend Stachanów?” (www.onet.pl, 28.03.2015.
The fundamental component of this "conciliation" is the absolution by the Polish political and media mainstream of the CNS/UPA and designation of the fact that post-Mayan Ukraine has the right to buildhis political and national identity on a criminal and fascist tradition.
It is evident from the deficiency of any reaction of president Komorowski, the Polish government, parliament and media to Act No 2538-1, passed on the same 9 April by the Verchowna Council. This Act – the applicant of which was the mentioned Yuri Szuchewycz – recognizes as formations fighting for Ukrainian independence, including the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists and Ukrainian Insurgency Army, as well as the Nazi Ukrainian National Army established by Germany on 17 March 1945. It besides provides for criminal liability for Ukrainian citizens and foreigners, who will publically show a "disconcerting attitude" towards formations deemed to be fighting for Ukraine's independence. The bill was voted by 271 deputies with the required 226 votes, which is one more time discredited by Polish media, which constantly claim that there are no banners in the Ukrainian parliament.
Since the beginning of the Ukrainian crisis there has been no uncertainty for me that Polish political elites have been on the side of the Mayan Ukraine sided with UPA, under the banner of the flag (referring literally, which could be seen many times in tv broadcasts from Kiev). Almost all day provides examples of their uncritical love of neo-Bander Ukraine and irreconcilable hostility towards Russia. president Komorowski said in the Ukrainian Parliament what his listeners wanted to hear. Similarly, supporters of the “Ukrainian faith” seem to do what the Ukrainians wish. Bregovicia is not allowed in Poland for the performance due to the fact that it is “pro-Russian”. Association of Polish Journalists condemns portal www.kresy.pl for becoming a “tool for propaganda by Russian separatists”. Alderman PiS from Łódź demands the removal of works by Szostakowicz and Prokofiev from the repertoire of the Łódź Philharmonic. Hence, only a step to burning on piles of Russian literature, as in the 3rd Reich of judaic writers' books.
There is simply quite a few writing and talk about the war crimes of the Donbass separatists, but it is silent about the crimes committed by the Ukrainian army and volunteer battalions. Above all, however, it is silent about the evident facts of flagification, and even post-maidanization
Ukraine. Act No 2538-1, passed on the day of president Komorowski's speech before the Ukrainian Parliament, is 1 of these.
The question arises as to what the Citizens' Platform and the Law and Justice want to accomplish through this policy? Lech Kaczyński reportedly wanted to build a “Interior” – any anti-Russian block of states between the Baltic, Adriatic and Black Sea. But now there's no way. In Prague, Bratislava and Budapest, they do not share the anti-Russian policy of Warsaw. They besides do not share it in Berlin, Paris and Rome. Therefore, Poland was not at the negotiating table in Minsk, and it will not be there erstwhile taking fundamental decisions on Ukraine in the close or further future. Contrary to what it seems to president Komorowski and Jarosław Kaczyński, Poland will do nothing to guarantee that "The hand of Ukraine was given by another states and nations of the free Western world."It is isolated in its anti-Russian alliance policy with Kiev. A clear example of this isolation is the breakdown of the Visegrad Group. The Sławkowski Triangle will not support Warsaw in its anti-Russian policy. In fact, president Milosz Zeman made this clear, accepting the invitation to Moscow on 9 May and uncompromisingly rejecting the criticism of the US Ambassador.
In the event of further conflict with Russia, Warsaw will have against itself not only Moscow and Minsk, but besides Prague, Bratislava, Budapest, Belgrade and, I believe, Berlin. So where does this chocholi dance by post-solidarized politicians with Donców and Bandera gravestones on bones murdered in Volyn and east Małopolska lead? It seems that the elites of III and IV of the Republic of Poland have become active with post-Mayan Ukraine irreversibly. Then they'll sink with her.

The Parliament of Ukraine recognised the CNS-UPA as participants in the fight for
Ukrainian independence
Parliament of Ukraine recognised the CNS-UPA as participants in the independency struggle
According to the Ukrainian agency UNIAN, the Verchavna Council of Ukraine adopted a bill in which the CNS-UPA is considered to be a formation fighting for the independency of the country. This act was adopted on the day of president Komorowski's visit to Ukraine.
The position of the CNS-UPA was governed by the Act “On the legal position and respect of the memory of participants in the fight for independency of Ukraine in the 20th century”.
Members adopted bill No 2538-1, followed by 271 deputies with 226 votes required.
"Under the law, all those who participated in the armed, political, structures and organisations are considered to be fighting for the freedom and independency of Ukraine," said MP Yuri Szuchewycz of the extremist Party, boy of UPA commander Roman Szuchewycz straight liable for the genocide of Poles in the Kresas at the hands of Ukrainian nationalists. The Ukrainian Pows dancing Army is liable for the death of over 100 1000 Poles.
The Act besides provides for criminal liability for Ukrainian citizens and foreigners, who publically show a "disparaging attitude" to formations considered to be fighting for Ukraine's independence
Szuchewycz pointed out that the Act besides concerns, among others, the Legion of Ukrainian Siczov Rifles, the Central Council, the Army of the West Ukrainian People's Republic, the Insurgency Transnistrian troops, the Karpacka Sicha.
President Robert Choma's hard letter to the president of Poland
Added: April 13, 2015, 10:30 author: Norbert Ziętal
President of Przemyśl Robert Choma in a letter to the president of Poland Bronisław Komorowski about the visit of the second in the Ukrainian parliament at the time erstwhile a resolution glorifying the Ukrainian Insurgency Army was adopted there.
Robert Koma, president of Przemysl.
– I welcomed the President's speech in the Ukrainian Parliament, in which we mentioned our shared past and want for peaceful and unchangeable development, praise for Ukraine's European aspirations, begins Koma.
Still, it is little pleasant.
"My and many inhabitants Przemysl's concern and even protest, however, raises the fact that at the same gathering the Ukrainian Parliament adopted a law recognising members of the Ukrainian Insurgency Army as "freedom fighters", including those liable for crimes, among others, in Volyn. In Przemyśl there are besides many people who, even if they do not remember the atrocities committed by UPA members, can name people in the household who have been murdered by these “freedom fighters”, says Choma.
And then:
– I regret that specified a decision was made in the Ukrainian Parliament on the day of the President's visit, due to the fact that in my opinion and many people who have given me their comments, it does not service well Polish-Ukrainian relations, and is even perceived as the silent consent of the Polish authorities to the decision made by Ukrainian deputies. Our relations with a neighbour from across the east border should be based on historical truth, including these tragic events, and ignoring them in the name of reasons I do not realize raises my objection.

Marcin Hałaś "Ukraine humiliates Poland" "Warsaw Newspaper" 17-23 April 2015.
The Parliament of Ukraine adopted an anti-Polish bill, both in historical and contemporary terms, pragmatic. This disgusting bastard was credited by president Bronisław Komorowski, who just an hr earlier captivated Ukrainians and in his speech leveled executioners with victims.
In the customs of the east wilderness there was specified a rule: it is not adequate to kill the enemy. Before that, he must be humiliated, his dignity trampled on. Modern Ukrainians no longer have the chance to kill Poles (no more needs in this regard, UPA "cleaned" the area respective decades ago). However, they can always humiliate, and this was the case on Thursday, April 9, 2015, erstwhile the ultimate Council of Ukraine adopted the law “on the legal position and honor of Ukrainian freedom fighters in the 20th century.
How the Portal Briefs http://www.kresy.pl/:
The legal act provides for liability for Ukrainian citizens and foreigners who publically show disrespectful attitude towards participants in the 20th century's independency struggle. Among the formations mentioned in the Act is the Ukrainian Pows dance Army.
It's an anti-Polish bill. Not only in the dimension of memory and historical truth. besides threatening Poles here and now. If it comes into force – Poles surviving in Ukraine may turn out to be criminals. For example, writer Maria Pyz and editor of Radio Lviv can go to prison after the entry into force of the Act, for example for the opinion expressed on the social portal Facebook. And don't think it's an exaggeration – a neo-bander-dominated safety camera for the so-called. Western Ukraine can do so without scruples. besides due to the fact that he has cognition that Polish diplomatic services – unfortunately – will swallow it without reaction. Let us decision on: so formulated law does not specify precisely whether the act under the name "impairment of memory" of UPA in Ukraine or beyond its borders will be prosecuted. In the second case, it may turn out that there will be hundreds of Polish publicists and historians calling the upsellers criminals under Ukrainian law. They will besides prove to be tens of thousands of Polish citizens, claiming – in accordance with the fact – that UPA was a criminal formation that committed acts of genocide. It is adequate that specified an opinion is expressed on Facebook, for example, and Ukrainian safety guards will capture these sentences. Fantasia? Even before Majdan, the safety Service of Ukraine issued me a ban on entering Ukraine in retaliation for a book published in Poland.
What should the Government of the Republic of Poland do in specified a situation? Call the Ukrainian Ambassador to the Ministry of abroad Affairs and give him a note with our sharp stance and protest on the matter. And if the bill were signed by president Poroshenko and entered into force? Then we should cancel our ambassador from Kiev and frost all aid programmes for Ukraine. It would be a normal, pragmatic and logical reaction, What does the Polish government do instead? It captivates us, which humiliates us and captivates us (means taking off his hat, bowing down) with the motion of the first individual in the state – president Bronisław Komorowski. It is besides mediocre comfort that “Gay” is just as worthy of Poland as Wojciech “Spawacz” Jaruzelski, or Aleksander “Kwach” Kwaśniewski. Komorowski went to Kiev. Theoretically – support the Ukrainian state. Practically – make a fool of yourself and spit in your face. It is hard to say whether he is so stupid himself, or if he is specified a cow, he put the president of the Republic of Poland “professionals” from the Ministry of abroad Affairs chosen by Radek Sikorski, present led by Grzegorz Schetyna (although a large part of them positively verified Geremek). Anyway – I listened to the full speech Komorowski in the ultimate Council of Ukraine. This can only be described in 1 sentence: Poland Humiliated, Poland on its knees.
I stress – I listened to Komorowski's speech. And I could evidence in cold precision words that should never be in it. And so: 4 minutes, 45 seconds to 5 minutes 15 seconds speech. Komorowski de facto strengthens Ukrainian objections to Chełm. (Chełm was royal cityCrowns of the Kingdom of Poland, A.S.). The fact that the nationalist environments in Ukraine inactive did not renounce territorial pretensions towards Poland, was written by Grzegorz Wrzrzak in an highly crucial text “Do Ukrainians inactive want Zakersonia”, published on Monday (13 April – inactive in distribution) issue of weekly "Independent Poland". Meanwhile, Komorowski spoke gratuitously (or out of foolishness) in the parliament of Ukraine about Prince Daniel Halicki buried in Chełma and Mikhail Hruszewski – president of the alleged Ukraine from 1918. It is simply a pity he did not mention Maria Konopnicka buried in Lviv (I will not cast land from where our family...) neither born in Kurylówka on Jan Paderewski Ignacy Podol or about the citizen of the city of Lviv Janie III Sobieski. Or about Semen Petlura, implementing a political task which Piłsudski occupied Kiev. As a live – Poroshenko in the Polish parliament would not talk about them. It was inactive worse – 7 minutes 40 seconds of Komorowski's speech. In fact, he compared executioners (Ukrainians from UPA) with victims (Poles). He said that the tragic apogee of the Polish-Ukrainian conflict took place during the Second planet War, erstwhile so much innocent Polish and Ukrainian blood was shed. I propose that Komorowski go to Kneset and declare that the apogee of the Jewish-German conflict occurred during the Second planet War, erstwhile so much innocent German and judaic blood was shed (the Jews in the Warsaw ghetto organized self-defense and shot Germans). I do not know whether Komorowski invented it himself, or whether the speech is incriminating his political office. Anyway, he humiliated the Polish state. And right after that, he did it again – according to the east Wildness rule – Ukrainians adopting the Act on the designation of UPA members as heroes of the fight for independence. This convergence of deadlines could not have been accidental. It was premeditation. In this situation, I am the first to violate the recently passed unfair law of Ukraine. I declare publicly: The Ukrainian Pows dancing Army did not have soldiers, but bandits – genocide assassins who murdered at least 120 1000 with the support of civilian nationalists (other sources say 200 thousand, additions of AS) Poles, women, children, old people. An eternal disgrace to UPA murderers. The fame and honour of the righteous Ukrainians, who frequently saved, warned and cut off Polish neighbors against nationalists and genocidal killers from UPA
At this point, I would like to take 3 marginal reflections:
We insulted Russia, which considered Katyn a criminal crime, not genocide. But the Russians could at least admit it. Meanwhile, representatives of Polish authorities and “elite” lick the asses of the “ukrom”. By the way, in Ukraine it will be a crime to insult UPA murderers. In Poland you can insult the memory of the heroes of the Unbreakable Soldiers. UPA fought for large Ukraine, SS for large Germany, RONA for large Russia. But only Ukrainians have the nerve to worship criminals. Unfortunately, stupid or naive Polish carps got to the vote. Here are their arguments: UPA soldiers were listed among many another people defending the country. The Ukrainian Pows dancing Army was honored for its efforts to reconstruct Ukraine's independency – not for Volyn. That's not true. The extermination of the Polish population of Volyn was 1 of the elements of the strategy of building a “great” self-stitch Ukraine implemented by the CNS and its armed arm – UPA. The restoration of Ukraine's independency was to take place, among others, thanks to the "cleaning out of the Polish element" of the lands which nationalists considered ethnically Ukrainian. Carp's argument reminds us of the sentence: SS was honored not for Auschwitz, but for taking care of the physical strength of young Germans. past evaluates the full activity of a given formation at a given time.
Why “Polish carps”? The action “I am Polish – I aid Ukraine” is organized in our country. Lively, this title resembles another slogan: “I am a carp, helping cooks preparing Christmas Eve. presently (after the adoption of the abovementioned bill, any Pole who will give at least a convention to acquisition equipment for the Ukrainian army – will be specified a carp, naïve or idiot, or a conscious agent of Ukrainian neo-banderism.
Finally, an crucial reservation: rightly condemning the recidivism of neo-banderism in Ukraine, it is worth remembering that it is not possible to condemn or insult the full Ukrainian nation. He besides released the Righteous, who, with the hazard of their own lives, saved, warned, or hid Polish neighbors from OUN/UPA murderers. Solimir Żuk, or Stanisław Srokowski are Poles saved by Ukrainian neighbours. I inactive hope that 1 day the righteous will be worshipped in Ukraine, not murderers.
Marcin Hałaś "Ukraine humiliates Poland" "Warsaw Newspaper" 17-23 April 2015.
Bander's decree by Petro Poroshenko
Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko established a fresh state vacation – the Day of Defender of Ukraine, or the day of the Ukrainian army, by decree on 14 October. There is no Day of Defenders of the Homeland, Christmas from the times of the russian Union. The decree mentions “the valor and heroism of Ukrainian defenders of independency and integrity”, stresses “the military traditions and victories of the Ukrainian nation” and calls for “the construction of a strong patriotic spirit in society”.
The festival of the army coincides with the Orthodox feast of the Cow, or Care of the Most Holy God of birth. For the presidency of Leonid Kuczma, Ukrainian Cossack Day was celebrated on the Day of Cows. In 1942, the Ukrainian Pows dancing Army (UPA) was established on that day, which for years reminds of its manifestations in honor of the UPA nationalist organization Swoboda. Last Tuesday, on the day of the establishment of the Ukrainian Army, there was a multi-thousand demonstration in Kiev, in which supporters of the Swoboda organization dominated. They demanded the adoption of a peculiar Kombatan law recognising the merits of UPA and OUN soldiers in the fight for Ukraine's freedom. The adoption of this bill is simply a substance of time, as president Petro Poroshenko is zealously in favour of its adoption.
When the president of Ukraine sees evidence of “heroism” in the CNS-UPA, the outrage at the establishment of a fresh vacation in Ukraine is not hidden by the president of Russia Vladimir Putin. OUN-UPA recognizes him as a professional organization and demands the cessation of harassment of Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate. It is hard to disagree with Putin on the assessment of the CNS-UPA, but what is fundamentally different from the chief ideologist of Ukrainian nationalists Dmytra Doncov, who not only justified expansion, but considered it 1 of the main motor forces of each nation. OUN and UPA are not acceptable to Russia, especially Doncow and Bandera, who have devoted their full lives to the thought of separating Ukraine from Russia.
The fascist essence of Ukrainian nationalism is unacceptable to Poland. The CNS-UPA sought to build a Ukrainian state in areas considered arbitrarily to be ethnically Ukrainian. They resented Podlasie, Zamość, Nadsania and Lemkowszczyzna. The CNS faction, with the engagement of the Germans, established the SS Galizien division. Since the spring of 1940, the CNS-UPA has murdered over 100,000 Polish civilians surviving in Volyn, Polesia, Lublin and east Galicia.
The echoes of their unimaginable crimes inactive lay a shadow on Polish-Ukrainian reconciliation. The Polish legislature condemned the action “Wisła” carried out between 1945 and 1947, without which the final defeat of UPA would be impossible. However, this political motion has not met with any affirmative reaction of Ukraine, which even now, in the face of the threat of its sovereignty by Russia, cannot condemn its own Ukrainian genocide in Poles.
Demanding to grant the OUN-UPA soldiers the position of "warriors" or "combatants" fighting for the freedom of their homeland makes it hard to get to the historical truth, makes it impossible to build an agreement on historical facts, yet dismisses the aspect of Polish-Ukrainian reconciliation. For many OUN-UPA Ukrainians, they are inactive organizations that are equivalent to the Polish National Army, due to the fact that they fought both Germans and Russians. However, it is rejected that CNS-UPA in the name of criminal chauvinism and racist ideology murdered thousands of their fellow Ukrainians. OUN-UPA "Fighters" and Ukrainian soldiers from SS Galizien cannot be heroes of free, democratic Ukraine. On specified a ground, the “patriotic spirit in society” will not be liberated, especially on the feast of the Cow, to search protection from the Blessed God-parent.
