Grzegorz Braun and the Confederation of the Polish Crown on 3 October rejected the allegation that their contacts with Indian partners served to bring workers to Poland. The released recordings concern the planned forum Poland and Asia, but do not include recruitment arrangements. However, the substance leaves an work to explain who was invited to cooperate and with what purpose.
Accusation stronger than the evidence presented
He published on 2 October Bartłomiej Graczak's material based on talks recorded in April 2026. Grzegorz Braun, Włodzimierz Skalik, prof. Jacek Janowski and Dominik Chmielewski discussed the organization of the global economical forum. There was a large representation of India in the plans, but the gathering was to include delegations from another Asian countries.
The most severe charge came out of the words of Prof. Janowski, who in a conversation with Chmielewski stated that he did not like that Braun wanted to bring Indians to Poland. This is an crucial signal of concern within the environment, but inactive the interviewer's opinion. These recordings do not show Braun's decision to start recruitment or to find the number of employees, industries or their arrival dates. In specified a serious case, the association cannot replace evidence.
Public gathering in the European Parliament
The starting point was the gathering of 18 February in the European Parliament. Braun accepted a delegation that included representatives of the ruling organization of Bharatiya Janata organization and Pathway Global Alliance in India. Politician At that time he publically announced a conference of entrepreneurs from Poland and India and talks about economical cooperation. He besides talked about inviting Indian observers to the parliamentary elections in Poland in 2027.
The specified fact of talking to India is not a disgrace. Poland needs exports, access to large markets and abroad policy conducted in its own interest. That's the logic of the Crown by the way dispute over sovereignty and transfer of competence to Brussels. Trade with a country with nearly 1 and a half billion inhabitants can service Poland. This does not require beginning the Polish labour marketplace to mass migration.
Partners must undergo hard verification
However, questions do not vanish with rejection of the main thesis of the report. Pathway Global Alliance presents itself as an economical and organization cooperation platform, while the author of the material besides pointed to its activities around individual mobility and contacts with Russian actors. The Republic reported that the organization had offices in Punjab and Moscow, and was to enter into an agreement with Sputnik in September 2025. These are claims requiring full verification and explanation by the organizers.
The right to open economical diplomacy does not exempt politicians from caution. Any partner with ties to the Russian influence apparatus or the employment agency business should be thoroughly checked before gaining access to Polish political and business circles. Russia carries out hybrid actions against Poland. Recklessness in specified contacts would be contrary to simple national realism.
The Crown denies migration plans
The press office of the Confederation of the Polish Crown stated on 3 October that the group did not lead and does not plan to work towards bringing foreigners to Poland. According to the party, the study combined real information about economical talks with a request that the material does not confirm. The Crown emphasized that the aim was to increase Polish exports, and decisions on borders and employment of foreigners should stay in the hands of the Polish State.
This position is consistent with the expectations of voters, especially erstwhile Braun's organization notes increasing support. That is why the answer cannot end the debate. The group should disclose the criteria for selecting partners, the scope of the planned forum and the function of all intermediaries. Transparency protects the credibility of the right hand more effectively than outrage at critics.
A credible migration policy is at stake
Poles have the right to require 2 things at a time. Firstly, no organization can quietly build channels of mass labour imports, which lowers the force on wage increases and shifts costs to society. Secondly, the media cannot announce specified a plan without hard material. Controlling migration is besides serious to turn it into a war of suggestion.
The recordings presented present justify questions about caution and selection of abroad partners. However, they do not prove that Braun made the decision to bring workers from India. If documents, contracts or circumstantial recruitment arrangements appear, the public should know them. Until then, honesty requires a separation of legitimate control from the political judgement issued on the basis of assembly.
