As he pointed out, he would not see himself in a akin situation:
– I definitely wouldn't go for a beer with Trzaskowski or Sikorski at the end of the election campaign.
A political game or a human gesture?
During the Bosak program, he tried to rationalize the actions of his organization colleague:
– I wouldn't exaggerate. It seems to me that Platform politicians were very keen to cut distance with Mentzen and that is why they appeared in his pub. Mentzen simply greeted the people who came to him – he commented.
However, there were any ironic references:
– By the way, interesting that earlier meetings with beer were something bad, and now it is something good – he added, referring to the criticism that Mentzen received for his popular events "Beer with Mentzen".
Sikorski as a liaison? Barefoot
There have been speculations as to whether Radosław Sikorski does not act as a "connector" between Mentzen and Trzaskowski. Bosak smiled at specified a suggestion:
He just lives nearby. He'd do beer meetings and brag about it.
He emphasized that although this situation may be seen as an component of the campaign, he thought it was simply... A social call.

Mentzen comments: “I will not be enrolled in any of your camps”
Several minutes after the broadcast of the program, Sławomir Mentzen himself posted a comment on social media that aimed to cut off speculation:
‘Z Nawrocki would have gone for a beer, too, but he didn't. I don't realize what any people mean. I don't belong to the mob, I don't belong to a cult. I'm going straight. I will not be enrolled in any of your camps. And politicians should be able to talk to each another normally," wrote the leader of fresh Hope.
Bosak read this motion as apolitical and devoid of deeper meaning:
– Just as I thought. It's just a motion of human openness. Of course, he will be attributed political content, but in my opinion – against Mentzen's intentions.
Political context and consequences
Mentzen's behavior, though he himself presented as neutral, fits into the broader context of electoral strategy. In the face of the upcoming elections, any policy – even a common beer – can be utilized propagandaally, both by supporters and opponents.
– You can see that everyone can have their grade. I, in the run for specified gestures, would not decide – concluded Bosak.
Can this attitude harm Mentzen in the eyes of the more extremist Confederate voters? Or will it aid him to gain the favour of the more moderate? The answer will come to wait until the election results, but 1 thing is certain now: political beer may have a long taste.
