Never before in any church paper published by the Polish Episcopate has there been a denial of the full tradition of the fresh Testament and the apostolic tradition. It has never been so clearly stated that Jews are inactive a chosen nation, a salvific entity, a subject of salvation – so Catholic author and publicist Paweł Lisicki commented on a letter of bishops intended to be read in Polish churches next Sunday.

Paul Lisicki, in his book “The story of Older Brothers in Faith” detailed the speech of John Paul II in the Roman Synagogue; the speech to which our hierarchs mention in the letter. They all shaped incorrect attitudes, all taught mistakes, all taught hatred, all taught anti-Semitism. (...) if the authors of this letter were not wrong, it means that the Catholic Church cannot be a teacher due to the fact that for a 1000 and a half years it distributed, taught, shaped terrible errors – the author scored.
