On Saturday night tv Republic reported the death of Barbara Skrzypek, longtime co-workers of the president of Law and Justice, Jarosław Kaczyński. The president of the Law and Justice Office, recalling her, described her departure as a "unordinary blow" to himself and her political environment.
The violin worked with Kaczyński for almost 30 years, being highly discreet and loyal. The PiS leader pointed out that she was not straight active in politics, but advised him on many key issues. Paweł Chiefernaker, PiS MP, described the news of her death as “a tragic information”.
Return to the ‘two towers’ case
Barbara Skrzypek was interviewed in the Silver Company investigation on Wednesday 12 March. The PiS leader co-worker was on the board of the Lech Kaczyński Institute, which is the main shareholder of the company.
During the tv interview, the Kaczyński Republic recalled that Barbara Skrzypek was late interviewed in connection with an investigation into the alleged "two towers". He stressed that she was profoundly afraid about the situation. The Republic's tv station suggested that her death might have been linked to this hearing, but the prosecution did not issue any authoritative communication on this subject.
Jarosław Kaczyński, mentioning on Saturday evening in tv the Republic of Barbara Skrzypek, said that “she was called for questioning by prosecutor Ewa Wrzosek in a case that is completely sucked off her finger.” As he added, it is “part of the operation”, where “the primary work is Donald Tusk, and in this case Roman Gierty besides plays a peculiar role”.
Kaczyński stressed that Skrzypek was “very upset about it”, which besides happened during earlier hearings in court. “
“And specified things, during 30 years of our cooperation, happened due to the fact that I had quite a few trials, different processes, and she was besides very upset about it. And here this tension was enormous, due to the fact that she knew how fierce our opponent Mrs. Wrzosek is and at the same time she knew what was happening here, what was happening here in Poland," added the leader of PiS.
Kaczyński noted that the prosecutor's decision not to let Barbara Skrzypek's lawyer to be heard.
“It was clearly noted that she was in a hard situation, that she was very upset and that is why the law was denied. It would surely strengthen her mentally," he said.
Prosecutor's Office: We see no connection between interrogation and death
“We are very sorry about Barbara Skrzypek’s death,” said Piotr Antoni Skiba in a conversation with PAP on Saturday evening.
"However, we see no connection between interrogation and death, and in the case of duplication of specified communicative indicating the causal link between the fact of the proceeding and the effect of death, The territory Attorney's Office in Warsaw will go on a civil-law road to defend the good name of the prosecutor," he said.
“The proceeding took place without instruction on any anticipation of refusing to answer questions. Mrs. Skrzypek was interrogated like a simple witness, without any suspicion of the possible future procedural role," said Prok. Skiba.
