It's hard not to call it an global scandal! Exhumations of murdered Poles in Ugły on Volyn to conduct the company ‘Down’which is owned by Swiatosław Sheremeta – a flagman and a lover of German Nazism.
Who is this man? Sheremeta was sanctioned and banned from entering the Schengen area as early as 2017, after he publically worshipped the formations Waffen-SS, he justified the crimes of the CNS-UPA and referred to Poles as “occupants”. Now he is to host the exhumation work of the victims of these crimes.
The information was partially confirmed by the spokesperson of the Institute of National Memory, Dr Rafał Leśkiewicz, which stated: "It will be conducted by Ukrainians, and they will host the full process of searching in this village.“
Remember, if we presume that exhumations are a circumstantial trial (the earth will tell you the truth) – in which the fact is yet to see the light of day – this situation resembles admission The defendants have been tried in their own case. nemo iudex in causa sua).
