According to Dariusz Matecki, actor Jacek Kopczyński approached him and another PiS MPs at the Poselski Hotel restaurant, shouting and utilizing profanity. The PiS MP described the event on his Facebook page, saying that the actor was expected to ask if he had anything against Minister Zbigniew Ziobrze, and erstwhile he answered yes, Jacek Kopczyński was expected to hit him.
The perpetrator of the attack was detained by the Marshal's defender and then by the police. It turned out that it was Jacek Kopczyński, a celebrated actor from the series "M like love". It is not known what the actor was doing at the Chancellery of the Sejm, although unofficially said he was invited, but details are unknown.
The actor's lawyer, Ada Biniewicz-Paprock, took the level in the case, saying that she would not comment for the time being. The counsel said that there was a detention, but that the trial in the Jack Kopczyński case had not yet begun.
Police besides commented on the case, confirming that the incidental had occurred. Press officer Jakub Paciniak told journalists that the police had received a study of a possible violation of the physical integrity of 2 MPs.
According to the data, in 2020 more than 10 1000 cases of violations of physical immunity were registered in Poland, of which more than 2 000 cases were reported in public service. This offence may be punishable by imprisonment for up to 3 years.
