MEP Anna Bryłka at Radio Wnet on joining the Patriots Group for Europe in the European Parliament.
Me and our Members, and Tomek Buczek, were simply closest to the views presented by the Patriots for Europe. The main reason was to join the largest right-wing group in the European Parliament. The Patriots present number 86 MEPs and are a real 3rd force in the European Parliament. This intention has been achieved, including joining the largest right-wing group.
Euro MPs of the National Movement @annabrilka and Can not open message They joined the Group of Patriots for Europe, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. “Our goal was to join the largest right-wing group in the EP, and that worked,” said Anna Bryłka.
‘Patriots have...
What are the group's plans?
Above all, blocking all the unfavourable policies that appear in the European Union. Which were already adopted in any way in the erstwhile term. Which will proceed in this term. And here, for example, it is full compatible with the blocking of the European Green Deal, as regards the protection of the sovereignty of the associate States, as regards the detention of decision-making in associate States, as regards the conduct of immigration policy, as regards the conduct of another policies in which the European Union is trying to interfere. We all disagree on mass and uncontrolled immigration.
We all in the Patriots mostly want to defend simply conventional European values, which are not protected, which are ignored, which are devastated.

— Patriots for Europe (@PatriotsEP) October 1, 2024It is our attachment to Europe that unites us, and we want Europe to be strong, to be well organised, to function efficiently on this global market. And the current policy simply leads to a deindustrialisation of European industry, a simplification in its competitiveness. And the solutions that are proposed, among others, in Draghi's study do not service to strengthen this position of the European Union, but rather the opposite: to proceed to prosecute a policy that has not worked completely.
We are in the Patriots in a group with MPs from the FPÖ [Freedom organization of Austria] who have now won these Sunday elections. And we share any of these views and there is surely a trend in Europe, i.e. here we have a triumph in the European Union. A fewer weeks ago, we had the triumph of the Czech ANO party, which is besides part of the Patriots for Europe. The same applies to Marine Le Pen. Of course, she does not rule, but these results were fantastic here, and if it were not for this fantastic consequence for the European Parliament, there would be no accelerated elections in France, etc. So these right-wing parties are gaining popularity, gaining support due to the fact that they are the only representatives of interests that defend Europe and defend Europeans. And Europeans see it too.
