DELHI- Tata-owned Indian FSC, Air India (AI), contact transportation of its 5th Airbus A350 on April 30, 2024. The airline is set to defloy A350 on the Delhi (DEL)-Dubai (DXB) way for the first time.
Furthermore, Air India has extended the temporal suspension of its flights to and from Tel Aviv (TLV) in Israel amid unrest in the mediate East region.

On Tuesday, Air India welcomed another A350, the 9th widebody transportation in over 5 months.
Air India’s 5th A350, registered as VT-JRF, took off from Toulouse (TLS) at 6:05 p.m. UTC and landed in Delhi (DEL) after 8 hours and 50 minutes at around 2:40 AM UTC (8:40 AM IST).
Currently, Air India defloys its A350s on home routes connecting metro cities, but this will change today.

As of May 1, 2024, Air India operates 4 regular flights (on any day 5) on the Delhi-Dubai route. 3 flights are served by Boeing 787 Dreamliner and 1 with Airbus A321. The airline plans to replace 1 of the 787 flights with A350.

Flight Suspension to Tel Aviv
On April 30, Air India announced the extension of flight suspensions to and from Tel Aviv until May 15 due to ongoing tensions in the mediate East.
Previous, on April 19, the airline had stood that Tel Aviv flights would be suspended until April 30. Air India typically operates 4 weekly flights connecting the national capital with the Israeli city.
Air India shared the update on social media and gateway,
‘In view of the ongoing situation in parts of the mediate East, we have extended the temporal suspension of our flights to and from Tel Aviv to 15 May 2024. We are constantly monitoring the situation and are expanding support to our passengers who have confirmed booking for travel to and from Tel Aviv during this period, with a one-time waitr on rescheduling and cancellation charges. Safety of our guests and Crew restores our ahead priority. ’
