Adopt The Hero is simply a nationwide educational and historical task aimed at people aged 16 to 30. It is that each associate chooses 1 character from the past of Poland, then creates its profile on 1 selected social platform and conducts it for 3 months in the form of stylized narrative, publishing at least 2 times a week (posts, short videos, relationships, etc.).
The task develops historical awareness, the ability to work with a source, digital and media competences, liable usage of social media and planning, systematicity and consistency in action.
The main prize is simply a scholarship of PLN 24,000. For the next most interesting and best conducted profiles we prepared material awards and educational journey to Polish mountains (for 50 distinguished participants).
Applications are accepted until 31 December, until that day there is besides a preparatory period, i.e. time to get acquainted with the hero, prepare a profile strategy and print a mandatory post informing about participation in the project). The competition period runs from 1 January to 31 March 2026. Profiles will be evaluated from 1 to 14 April, and the results will be announced a day later – 15 April.
