Chojecki, who himself was an active underground soldier (not an AK, but an organization of Poland Independent), and who, as a consequence of the conspiracy, could not know anything about the planned assassination, surely realized that the bar “Behind the Cat” was a gathering place of traitors, confidents and Gestapo agents, but chose this place deliberately (so suspected by respective researchers). Chojecki, who was himself afraid of being arrested by the Germans, chose specified a place of gathering due to the fact that it seemed to him the most safe (who would yet look for a associate of the opposition in a spa for Germans and informers). The case, the delayed consequence of Chojecki himself at the time the bombers entered, as well as the chaos, as it followed, caused him, his client and the waitress to die.
