The foot-and-mouth coffee ran in our conventional idyllic-family atmosphere. Common pastries (tasteful, though most likely very unhealthy) and equally common light dictaries, known to everyone for years. And we'd most likely be stuck with this crumpled yet pleasant convention if Aunt didn't talk to the kids: how's school? And here was a surprise. The directorate and pedagogical staff of the facility, to which our children attend, had the thought of celebrating the anniversary of Russia's attack on Ukraine. This celebration was to take the form of a ceremonial academy on which decorated and glistened with priceless colours Ukraine's grouchs will perceive in the focus of the Ukrainian anthem and worship Ukrainian games.
- But the number, I can't stand it- she commented in the appropriate juvial kind of her aunt. Then she added – In the old days, we besides went to specified academies. We had to learn the anthem of the russian Union, fortunately in Polish, and sing it on various occasions. I most likely remember something by now... – after which she proved that she actually remembers. The laughter was not a measure.
Turns out the kids don't conflict. We have even been informed by Librus (it's specified an application that makes life easier for parents and teachers) that we are to decorate our contribution like God's Body. Of course, we protested. Culturally (it is thanks to the spouse) but definitely (it is my thanks). Then it turned out that the academy is not compulsory at all and that our children can spend that time in the dayroom.

I did a fast reconnaissance and learned that the thought of an academy for the worship of gamegoes is not isolated. In 1 form or another, quite a few facilities organize it. In view of the firm attitude of any parents, in most of the cases known to me, the students were turned distant from being forced to attend these questionable celebrations. In any places, they were only attracted by additional points of behavior.
I am very much puzzled by the thought of the anniversary of the outbreak of the armed conflict. What are we expected to be celebrating? The fact that dozens (or alternatively hundreds) of thousands of Ukrainian and Russian boys alternatively of enjoying, saddening, worrying and loving, lie in cold graves today? Is it that in places where people live present only scare the ruins? There's nothing to be happy about. But alternatively of a minute of reflection, our children are being funded by a pompous academy. Recalling the most curiosity of the erstwhile system.
By sensitising my children to the harm of another people and teaching them moral value, I effort to instill criticism and self-esteem. I would like the Polish school to be my ally. Finally, today's children will be Polish citizens tomorrow. If we rise them wisely. If not, they may at most be residents of ‘this country’.

PS. The celebration, of course, was held. Students listened to the anthem of Ukraine, among others. Not even a verse as follows:
“We shall stand brothers in a bloody battle from Sanu To Don,
We will not let anyone regulation our country.
The Black Sea will smile, the grandpa Dniepr will rejoice,
Our Ukraine will change.”
did not induce dissonance in any of the teachers.
