A lot has been said in Polish media about the authoritative visit of president Karol Nawrocki to the United States, about the gathering with Trump and future relations between 2 countries. Meanwhile, ladies and gentlemen, another well-known individual will besides visit the United States, starting a series of political lectures from today, from where I am close to Los Angeles. That individual is Lech Walesa. As all-page, costly ads in colour report, it will be a two-month series of political lectures. Walęsa will lecture Americans on democracy in 28 U.S. cities.
It was an accident. I went into Barnes & Nobles bookstore and started looking at magazines. Then I opened Harper’s Magazine precisely on the Wa3ęsa ad page. I looked at his likeness and read the words, for a minute incapable to even comprehend them:
The top Challenges of Our Time
Through The Eyes Of The Global Hero Who Changed the Course of History
An Evening With president Lech Walesa
Nobel Peace Prize Winner and erstwhile president of Poland
USA & Canada Grand Lecture Tour, August 31-October 30, 2025
[The top challenges of our time. The eyes of a global hero who changed the course of history. An evening with president Lech Walesa. Nobel Peace Prize winner and erstwhile president of Poland. large tour of lectures in the USA and Canada, 31 August – 30 October 2025]
When I came to an explanation, starting with the words of the U.S. Constitution, [‘We, the people"...live in challenging times and face a turning point in historySomething touched me. I paid for the magazine in a hurry, and I couldn't stay distant from laughing on the way home long, reasoning about how to make Bolk as a foreman of democracy and a hero of globalists. I besides had quite a few another thoughts. Well, Lech Wałęsa's open animosity towards president Trump, his ostentatious confusion towards president Nawrocki, as well as his ideological offensive against the current political and administrative changes carried out by the president in the United States prove that this two-month journey of "electrician" with lectures is surely not accidental.
The most crucial information I wanted to know was who the tour was and who paid for this two-month stay with the Welsh lectures. It was a Polish organization HistoryExplorer.com, whose backing remains a mystery. AI, after asking her a fewer questions, replied only that it could even be financed by the current Polish government. And as far as the approximate amount is concerned, it is within the limits of a million dollars, taking into account the rent of premises for lectures; hotels and catering for Wałęsa and, as I suppose, accompanying persons; the charge for interpreter- translator, due to the fact that Wałęsa even literary Polish does not speak; marketing and very costly announcements in left-wing monthly magazines specified as Harper’s, the Atlantic, or fresh Yorker (the price for 1 full-page announcement at Harper’s Magazine ranges from $40,000 to 60,000); production and branding, ticket platforms and promotional materials have been conservatively estimated at $50,000.
I have no doubt, ladies and gentlemen, that our long "intellectualist" visit to the Atlantic is an integral part of the anti-Trump revolution. "A surviving legend that has overthrown communism in Poland", now raises it and vacuums it in a fresh manifesto, not only in Poland, but besides in the USA. This may be fun for a while, but who's behind this?
