On Friday, May 16, 2025, the final rally of Grzegorz Braun was held in the Warsaw Old Town before the upcoming presidential election. The event was accompanied by a colorful march, which included men in historical costumes, carrying white-red flags and... a giant fire extinguisher.
Anti-EU symbol on church tower
One of the most eloquent elements of the rally was the suspension at the bell tower of St.Anna's church of the anti-EU flag – blue material with 12 yellow stars, crossed off by a red line. This symbolic motion was to express opposition to European Union policy.

Korwin-Mikke calls for cultural reconquist
The main talker of the rally was Janusz Korwin-Mikke, who stressed in his speech the request to "regain Polish culture".
– “I just want to say that erstwhile I started political life, already so unofficial, I was amazed to find that the word ‘left’ has a affirmative speech among young people. I was raised for communes, but we all, in my school in Reitan, treated the word “levice” as something disgusting.” – said Korwin-Mikke.
He recalled that in Polish terms related to the “left side” had negative connotations, while the “right” associated with honesty.
– "Now we live in a country where the left has mastered schools, colleges, tv and imposed fresh language, fresh values. And we gotta rewind it. We must return to normality” He appealed.

“Grzegor Braun the only 1 who can change that”
Korwin-Mikke expressed his belief that only Grzegorz Braun was able to carry out the “controvolution” and reconstruct conventional values.
– “The contractor is needed! Reconquist – we gotta rebuild. We request a counter-revolution! They made the revolution, and we must return to normality” – he said.
Photos and recordings
The event has been documented with many photos and recordings that have circulated social media. They show both participants of the march and symbolic gestures, specified as a large fire extinguisher or an anti-EU flag.
