The Ministry of National Education has prepared a real revolution in the Teacher's Charter, and key changes are to enter into force already from September 1, 2025. The most crucial information that electrifies the full environment is the introduction of a completely fresh Jubilee Award for 45 years of work. To date, teachers, unlike another professional groups, have been deprived of this benefit, as the Minister of Education Barbara Nowack described as “dangerously unfair”. Now the government's draft amendment is expected to fix this by offering experienced educators financial gratuitation reaching out to even 25 1000 PLN. This is not only a form of appreciation for their long-term work, but besides a strategical decision to keep the most experienced specialists in the profession.
