We would like to remind you that in late January, lawyer General Adam Bodnar set up an investigative squad at the National Prosecutor's Office to analyse the management and spending of funds from the Justice Fund. The Justice Fund. What was the money spent on?
"The Justice Fund disposes of the money the courts justice from the perpetrators of the crimes. These funds, coming from the pockets of people who have done harm to others, are to do good. They are to aid victims of crime and accidents. They're meant to prevent them. They are to save people" – reported on government sites. However, any grants from the Justice Fund have raised considerable doubts in fresh years.
The study of the ultimate Chamber of Control, which covered the period from June 2020 to May 2021, stated that out of over PLN 681.4 million of grants, only PLN 228,5 million was spent on aid straight to victims of crimes and their nearest ones, while PLN 24.2 million was allocated to postpenitentiary support.
"The another grants afraid in particular: prevention of the causes of crime (144 contracts amounting to PLN 171,091,7 thousand), support from the Volunteer Fire Service (2,455 contracts amounting to PLN 140,802,9 thousand) and wellness care units (121 contracts amounting to PLN 35,204,4 thousand), construction and equipment of a centre for adults in coma (one contract amounting to PLN 37,240 thousand)", NIK informed.

Modern Election Sausage
– Over the last fewer years, the Justice Fund has become a symbol of the misuse of public finances, financing its modern election sausage. He was referred to as a private fund of Ziobra, a fund of injustice, a typical fund," said Zuzanna Rudzińska-Bluszcz in the Sejm in January.
– In 2017, a circumstantial mode was introduced which assumes subsidies outside the programme, outside of recruitment. The criteria for applying this procedure are vague, they talk of justified cases and the decision is solely the work of the Minister of Justice. Over PLN 285 million were awarded in this mode between 2017 and 2018. Contracts concluded in this mode, presently in implementation, amount to over PLN 48 million. besides in this mode grants for over PLN 17 million were awarded to the Academy of Justice, a unit under the Minister of Justice – said the Deputy Chief Justice.
"Part of the funds were allocated to purposes which, according to the law, could not be financed by this peculiar fund, e.g. to defend fundamental values or to act in favour of freedom of religion," Zuzanna Rudzińska-Bluszcz emphasized. “The hair is on your head erstwhile we are besides looking at promotion spending.
