On January 17, 1947, 2 soldiers of the Home Army - Jerzy Kaszyński and Jerzy Pizło were executed in the possessive prison.
Both were soldiers of the underworld of independence, both during planet War II, erstwhile they fought against the German occupier and later erstwhile the country began to regulation the Communist authorities controlled from Moscow. Their destiny is simply a tragic card of Derivative history.
Jerzy Kaszyński was born on 3 August 1915 in Jarondowice in Kielecki. In January 1941, he took an oath in the Armed Combat Union. After the war, he commanded a Poak armed group in the Wałbrzych area. He was arrested and imprisoned in October 1946. On December 7, that year, sentenced to death, the conviction was executed on January 17, 1947. Before his execution, he was even refused to see his wife.
On the same day as Kaszyński, he was convicted and later and shot Jerzy Pizlo. Born December 10, 1922 in Koński, Kielce Voivodeship. He was an AK soldier operating in his hometown. After the war, he fought in the Kaszyński branch. He died the same day as his commander.
It should be remembered that besides a period later, on February 19, 1947, another AK soldier, Mieczysław Jeruzalski, was executed. He was born on 1 October 1926 in Kłoda Wielka, Podlasie. He belonged to a branch of the National Army "Black Olek". After 1945, he operated in Lower Silesia as part of the independency organization "Freedom and Independence". The circumstances of his death are all the more tragic that he was murdered a fewer days before the planned leniency of sentences.
All 3 soldiers had to wait years for justice. Only in the 3rd Republic were officially rehabilitated by the courts.
